How to Remove a Background From an Image

Learn how to use the Magic Eraser tool to remove unwanted background images from a photograph.



1. Duplicate the layer by pressing "Ctrl+J".

2. Now click on the "Eye" on the "Background Layer Palette" to hide the layer.

3. Select the "Magic Eraser Tool" from the Tool bar and set your "Magic Eraser" as follows. Set the Tolerance to 32 and click on the "Anti-aliased" and "Contiguous" check boxes.

4. Now click on the Background and you will see that the Background has started to disappear.
